Free call : Link your phone.

An interesting service, provided by a widget from Jaxtr.

How? You sign up and wait, or get an invitation from someone who’s already on it and enter a telephone number. Then you post a link or badge on your website, blogsite, in your email or whatever.

Click here to Call me free.

Now, people click on that and it takes them to another page where they can enter their own phone number. They get a call from Jaxtr, and it connects them to you. So people can call you without having your number. And you know, it has Voicemail functionality. You get an email saying you have a voice mail, you log into your Jaxtr account and get a link to a page with a list of all your messages. You listen to them right on the page. If it’s someone you know, you add them to your approved callers list and next time they call, the call goes straight to your phone.

The company, Jaxtr was founded in October 2005 by Phillip Mobin and Touraj Parang with the mission to bring voice to social networks and blogs. With the free jaxtr service, users can link their phones with their online network to hear from callers worldwide while keeping their existing phone numbers private.

Cool feature ... Hunh ?

So go ahead, tell your friends and family abroad to call you on jaxtr without worrying about the pocket size. It's just Free.

Happy talking!

Another great thing about jaxtr is that it works internationally for free! So if someone sees you widget (or badge as you called it) and they are on the other side of the world, they can use it to call you, and it just costs them the price of making a local phone call! I love jaxtr!
